My name is Kevin L. Watson, and I have recently been appointed to Chaplain of
the Edgecliff Village Fire Dept. I really do believe in the quote above and
hope to incorporate this attitude into the framework of EVFD. I believe in God,
His word and prayer and also understand that blessings are manifested by living
according to his will. I feel that it is critical for His covering to be always
present because of what we do. The fire dept is a brotherhood built on the
relationships of its members, the strength of team and the dedication and
commitment towards the job at hand. With God's help I know that this department
will grow and flourish. It is of the utmost importance for every member to have
a relationship with God not only for the benefit of the department but also
their family life. As a former firefighter I hope to bring real life experience
to the members here and help build stronger men and women in Christ. It is an
exciting time here at EVFD and I look forward to progressing and growing closer
to Him with my new family.
